In Memoriam

 

Luke Jerram’s artwork “In Memoriam” on the beach in Weston-super-Mare.

The installation is a temporary memorial to those who have died during the COVID-19 pandemic and consists of flags made from NHS bed sheets arranged in the form of a medical logo. It was commissioned by Culture Weston and University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust, and has toured the UK before arriving in Weston-super-Mare as part of Weston Arts + Health Week.

Weston Walls

 

Artist Harriet Wood, also known as Hazard, works on a mural on the wall of Loves Cafe in Weston-super-Mare.

The mural is part of Weston Walls, a project coordinated by local arts organisation Culture Weston and Bristol street art festival Upfest.
